4th Philippine Cosplay Convention ( 4th PCC ) happened at Robinson's place manila / ermita , ( 3 / 5 / 2011 )

~It's finally the 4th PCC and I was getting ready to go to the robinsons manila. I woke up , I fix myself, contact those who are attending, I eat my breakfast, Facebook and PPF for awhile , prepare my things and Good to go. Well.. that day it's kinda rainy so I think that this gonna be fun because Its cold outside and no sunshine whatsoever. I ride a jeepney to get to SMF which I'm gonna meet up my contacts there then head to robinsons manila. When suddenly I realized that when I'm about to play my soundtracks in my cellphone, there is no file inside... >_< AHH..!!!
Then I thought I forgot my memory card at the card reader yesterday. Since I still have time, even It's rainy I still head back home to get my memory card. Then I head back again at SMF to meet up. I say to myself that this is karma or something.

 Good thing I made it in time. So we meet up and headed to the terminal to ride and head to robinsons manila. We ride an FX which it will head at Taft avenue. Since boredom strikes inside, we kinda talk and laugh at the same time. After all that we finally reach the taft avenue then we walk until we reach the robinsons manila

Since I didn't have lunch yet, I'm kinda drolling all over the street food vendors on the street, hee hee. Then we finally reach the entrance which there you could see all the random cosplayers walking around with heavy props and photographers is twice the numbered rather than the last event which is the MEGACON. Before we head to the event, we go first at the comfort room because half of us are calling by nature. Walking around we finally see a comfort room, but at the entrance I've seen plenty of bags , plastic , ETC . and some props which I think that there are plenty of cosplayers inside the mens comfort room. Then we went through that after done urinating, I've seen the whole cast of FF7 crisis core dressing. Yes, Zack fair , Cloud strife , Sepheroth and genesis.

There props are so amazing they get every detail from the tip of the blade until at the handle.

After all the trouble just to answer the call of nature, we head back at the main event. Then I'm preparing my cameras to use. When suddenly, I try to push the ON button and I dunno why it didn't respond. Then I check the batteries, when suddenly... WTF...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! . There is no battery inside so I double check if is in my back and their is nothing. I keep thinking maybe I forgot it at home again said to myself that it is really karma and I should think before I act first.

I set that aside first and I say to myself that I should just enjoy the event rather than blaming myself. So we take shots using the spare camera and my cellphone camera. We see old cosplayer friends, some people we know and we kinda talk awhile but not really long. Just checking each other out because we're really far from the place where they're living.

By the way, We really enjoy the performances by the cosplayers, they really out done themselves this time rather the hero face off. And the awarding of the cosplay costume of the year ( CCY ). There also a lot of booths and there is a wall that post the contenders for the CCY which is FUJIFILM is the sponsored. After a few hours of randomly having fun at the event I bumped plenty of PPFs. I saw a ROCKMAN DASH cosplay and I thought thats really sedale because he tell me last night before the actual event. Then random roaming again and we bumped into the BLAB host which is Daniw de leon ( NIAW ).

We kinda talk for awhile then he say goodbye to us because she will find her crew because she is kinda lost through the crowd. While roaming around the event we the usual famous cosplayer with photographers all around them. After that all the trouble about the crowd and the photographer I bump to another PPF again which is crossroad. We say "hi" to each other and talk for awhile and she said goodbye because they are heading home because it getting a little night time for them. RANDOM ROAMING AGAIN, I bump to Na,u , Krit and cheese. After all that roaming the event was ended and they were just entertaining the crowd at the stage by saying something funny. Since we're all tired,

                           "Even cats are tired"

 
we decided to head home. A long walk again at the taft avenue and we ride a bus headed to SMF which there we split up. I was listening to my soundtrack while them are talking and I dunno why they aren't tired from all that. THE CALL OF NATURE call me, I really need to pee on that time. We were at fairview and only few minutes until we reach SMF. I was like feeling the pressure and good thing the bus driver get some gas at SHELL station at fairview. I said to the driver that I'll go the bathroom which he said it is okay but be sure to get back on time. Then OH..!! YEAH..!! . I head back to the bus and we're good to go home. We reach SMF, we split up and I head home. FIN...

More than 300 attendees according to my calculations.. ( That includes cosplayers and photographers as well other event moderators and event security, not the security guard in RPE )
It's a miracle that I've seen my OTAKU friends there as well the cosplayer I know, The PPF members are also scattered and YES, I just bumped into them ... XD

the cyberzone technolife affair and alodia's birthday

It's the cyberzone technolife affair but I only came here for the one and only, Miss Alodia Gosengfiao. We arrived there around 1:30pm to 2:00pm at SM Megamall. Then we go right away at the the event center. I was thinking that there will be a lot of people when we arrived because I'm kinda expecting all the Gosengfiao fans are attending. After we arrived, there a only few people there and only 1 or 2 cosplayers and only a few photographers. I'm thinking that We've arrived kinda early so we just look around at the convention first.

~As you could see there only a few attendees when we arrived.

After that we're kinda bored at the event and there are no sign of miss Alodia yet so we headed first at the SM megamall timezone. When I got there, there are no sign of PPFs so far. We look also who are playing WMMT3DX+ there but We've only seen 3 players there and no Wangan bystanders not like in SM fairview timezone. The first cab player is only tuning his car, the second is in a battle, the third cab was an team AKUMA player that was fishing the second cab player. I was surprise that even that most powerful team would do that. Well I don't really mind that because I don't really care what he is doing. Then I went to play Drummania there, I should take this machine's chance because there are only 3 stages but the good part is it got an 3 stages LONG SONG.  HELL YEAH!!

~HELL YEAH...!! Even the cymbals are loud as ever..

When that is all over, we decided to go back at the event. Suddenly we kinda bumped at a Jollibee Mascot at the SM megamall foodcourt. And I dunno why but some photographers are taking its picture, so we give it a try

~Age really doesn't matter, Life is life...

We finally reached the event center again and there are more people and cosplayers that arrived and I thought it is finally miss Alodia on the stage but it is only a old man who I think he is kinda professor. He is discussing cameras, history of cameras, proper use of cameras, ETC.

~I really appreciate what he is doing, know I know how to use the right kind of white balance when taking a shot and many more. As for the history part I kinda found it interesting although its not the right time to be doing that.

After all that RANDOM shots... XD.. There was suddenly a commotion in the stage and FINALLY an awesome MC or host which is Slyde is trying to make fun at the event saying "You came for Alodia right? not the event itself".

~"Come, take a picture of me not Alodia" , "Wooh!! I can't take my eyes of Alodia and Ashley..!! You guys are right..!!( The funniest phrases that I hear from that MC )

Finally..!!! After the long wait, The MC calls miss Alodia and Ashley Gosengfiao...!! WOOH..!!! YES..!! WATASHI..!!!

After all that ruckus, Camera BLOWING, head banging, 1000% sparking, GAY-LIKE shouting from the crowd and how 2012 happened, it is finally over. Alodia and Ashley head back to their tent ( like a trailer ) at the event and the MC was still was there hosting the event. The event continue with a presentation from the Visual assistance ( which I forgot his name. ) and he was hiring and letting us know all about becoming a visual assistance. I'll have to say, his presentation was GREAT, he combined the information with the entertainment. That's a great way how to get the crowd with FUN and not BORING just like the normal presentation at the office.

~This is the best part of the presentation that made me WTF!?

Host : What if someone is trying to hire as a VA but you should pay a training fee and what should you do?
Crowd : IGNORE IT..!!!
ME : IGNORE IT...!! that was Hatsune miku is saying... WTF..!!

Just like a said, the host combined the information and the entertainment, he provide some questions from the presentation and OTAKU / Cosplay questions for the rest. Since I'm kinda near at the stage, the host said just "Grab the microphone from me and tell the answer" . Then the game started as the crowd rush in the stage and grab the microphone. As in they are fighting for the prize and I kinda don't know why? .. maybe it's for Alodia .. XD .

But on this question, I really don't know why are the crowd don't know this answer

Who is this character or anime?  ... then the host rephrase it .. Who is this anime that Alodia is cosplaying?  ( since all of the Die hard fans of Alodia are there, maybe they know it )

After a few minutes, know one knows the answer. And of course since I'm an anime lover I know it. It is basically Hell girl or jikogo Shoujo correct, I watch this anime a for . Since there are no ones to answer. I rushed to the stage, grab the microphone and say "jiikogo shoujo" which thats the correct answer. ... Yay..!! I won some prices. I got a PLDT bag ( sponsored from the event ) Cherry mobile planner ( sponsored again at the event ) and a CYBERZONE lanyard ( sponsored again but I found it interesting because Alodia and Ashley is wearing it and I don't have a lanyard yet for my keys. )

~as you can see, Alodia and Ashley are also wearing one.. XD Yay..!!

Since the game ended after a few minutes. The VA says goodbye and he had fun telling us his presentation. The MC is back again and saying EPIC lines again, she called miss Ashley Gosengfiao and told us she has a performances to do. And again the GAY-LIKE shouting from the crowd as miss Ashley walks at the stage. The crew is getting ready for her performance, " Guitar check" "Mic check" "Sit check" and GO.! Ashley performed a song which she played with her acoustic guitar and sing.

~We enjoyed and appreciate the song by miss Ashley Gosengfiao  :-x

When Ashley finished playing,she talks a little about something the song and after that she head back to his tent. The next presentation was performed by a professional blogger and he teach us all about blogging. The meaning, the reasons, the originality and the business. His name was Azrael Coladilla and after introducing himself he begin his presentation about blogging. He explained first what is the meaning of the blog or blogging and in his presentation there several meanings but the simplest meaning I see is "WALA LANG", which I laughed so hard because of that text speak or something. But I would agree that at the meaning of "expressing and news" part of his presentation of the meaning. After the first part, she showed a video that asking random people with the question "what is the meaning of blog?" or "Ano ba ang blog?". Many of the people ask is laughing while telling there are answer but I guess some of them are really serious and makes a point about what he or she said. Then sir Azreal continue his presentation about blogging and after all that we really learned many things about blogging and now my friends is now started on their own blogs.

The event continue with games again and the usual, the host is back again for some mind blowing entertainment. The games is still the same. Questions, grab the mic and shout the answer. Since the event is all about Alodia, the question is all about it. And the game is started as the heat is about to burn from all the ruckus. There are wild runnings and like how 2012 happened again. They are rushing at the stage to get the mic and tell the answer and win some prices. The funniest part about it is there are no medical injuries please said by host. The greatest part about this game is that there are two people fighting over the mic to tell the answer. I dunno why they rush and climb up the stage just to tell the answer. Anyway, 10/10 ROFLs for that. After 4~7 people I think who grabbed the mic and the host was really kinda beaten from all that hands, he decided fix all that. He paused all the hands and those who aren't on the mic is out. There are 2 contestant left and there are still arguing and fighting who touches the mic first. So Slyde talk them and after a few minutes of wild conversation and total nonsense moves. Its decided, the boy with the hat wins the price... XD ( Yay..!! it takes about 10~20 mins just to fix that problem dood. )

~The total nonsense I was talking about and It was really funny. Slyde make the 2 contestants holds each others hands while explaining about the who hold the mic first. "They are both males right?" said by Slyde which delivers a heavy laugher all over the crowd. ( Ayeieieieiei )

When that is all over, the next is the cosplay catwalk or something like that. The host called miss Alodia and Ashley again to judge for the competition. Then its time for the catwalk.

and the 1st place goes to "Iron man" ( Don Robert won again another cosplay competition )

After all that cosplay, The next is a performance from Ayumi Kassinique and her band which they perform a J-pop sond and a OPM song after that.

The host is back again and he give the stage for the Alodia fans club to perform and celebrate the birthday of there idol. First they perform a song for miss Alodia, Second they have welcoming speech for Alodia which now she is on the stage. Third Roses and smiles. ( ayeieieie ) . Last a special cake for miss Alodia ( double ayeiyie )

~CAKEE..!!! give me some dood..!! I didn't have lunch at this event.. XD

Anyway, way the go scoring at the ladies like that dood..!!  SMILE DOOD..!!

After that the winners of the blog contest has been announced. Congratulations who won the windows #### phone ( I forgot the numbers for the version of the phone ) , Kaspersky anti virus and the Microwave Oven ( DOOD..!! I want that )

Since my Cameras is dead already at this part, I'll try to simplify what happened next. After the blowing of the candles, Alodia makes a little speech how she appreciate all the fans who attended here. Slyde said "Naki party pa ang buong megamall para sayo" which deliver another punch line. After that there are games again but the price is worth dying for. A picture and an autograph from Alodia herself. There are few die hard fans who won and some lose. And Slyde delivers another punchline again , " Haha ang swerte niya oh.! may picture at autograph n siya" . 5/5 LOLs and a knuckle sandwich for you.. XD . After all the shots and autographs she made, Alodia went back to her tent and there are programs that followed.

The next happened was this cosplay boy band that performed and I forgot what is the name of it. After that a few talks and laughter followed and It's time to say goodbye so the event has finally come to an end.
